September & October 2026: WhatsApp Invitations, Custom Reports and Portal Pages You Can Edit

Two months since the last update, and both were busy. Most of the work went into what happens around the AI interview: how candidates hear about it, what you build before it, and how you get data out afterwards.
Reach candidates where they read
Invitations by WhatsApp and SMS. Many candidates never open an e-mail, but they do read WhatsApp. Interviews and positions can now send the invitation and reminders by WhatsApp, with automatic fallback to SMS when WhatsApp isn't available. Each message opens the interview in one tap, and an AI agent answers candidates' replies. Choose between invitation and reminders, reminders only, or the last reminder only. Templates come in 11 languages, and messages are billed in credits at the carrier's price.

E-mails at the right time. Each e-mail template now has its own sending schedule: immediately, after a short delay, a set number of days later, or only within the working hours and days you choose. SMS and WhatsApp messages wait for their e-mail, so reminders no longer land in the middle of the night.

Build better interviews
A second opinion on your questions. Verify questions in the interview editor reviews every question and gives the set a quality score out of 100. It flags the wrong language, a missing question mark, two questions in one, or list numbering the avatar would read aloud, with a one-click fix for each. It also checks the questions against the job description. These are suggestions and never block publishing.

One question per document. When you build a knowledge assessment, every document in the knowledge base can become one scenario question with its own expectations, linked to that article. Each question can come in several wordings, picked at random for each candidate, and labels stay neutral so candidates can't tell which document is being tested.

Edit your portal pages. The interview portal has its own page editor. Turn the home page into editable blocks, add your own pages and menu items, change the footer, and restyle everything with theme CSS. Pages are edited per language, and drafts stay separate from what candidates see until you publish.

Data you can use
Custom reports. Analytics now has a Custom reports section. Pick a dataset, group it, choose measures and filters, and save the result as a report you can run any time. Start from a template (decision speed, monthly hiring review, candidate experience, invitation funnel, credit usage) or a blank page, keep it private or share it with your team, and pin it to the Analytics page. Reports can also be built and run through the API and MCP.

Data export and deletion. Candidates can request a copy of everything held about them as a ZIP of machine-readable files. When an account is closed, recordings, video frames, ID-check selfies, voice prints, CVs and report PDFs are now removed from storage within minutes. New help articles cover export, retention and deletion, our subprocessors, and how releases and test environments work.
Feedback from wherever you work. Feature requests and technical issue reports can now be sent through the API, or from Claude and other AI assistants connected over MCP. Requests land on our public board, where you can follow and vote on them.
Coming soon
Already built and running with a few customers. These open up next.
Ask JobMojito. An assistant in the admin that answers questions about your candidates, interviews, results and reports, with links back to every source. It works with your own permissions, so it only sees what you can see.
Search everywhere. The admin search bar will find candidates, interviews, results and reports by meaning as well as by exact words.
Book the human interview. A meeting step after the AI interview: candidates book a slot themselves, the interviewer's Google, Microsoft or Zoom calendar stays in sync, meeting links and reminders go out automatically, and the interviewer records the outcome in a feedback form.
Segments and bulk actions. Save groups of candidates as dynamic or static segments, then invite, e-mail, text or tag them in one go.
Support chat and verified phone numbers. Candidates will be able to ask questions in a chat on the interview portal, and confirm their phone number with a one-time code before they're contacted by WhatsApp or SMS.
As always, tell us what you'd like next on the feedback board.
